Welcome to the 25th Sunderland (Castletown) Scout Group's Website. The site is being constantly updated, information and pictures are being added all the time to please keep returning. Pictured on the right is the badge we have had produced to celebrate our 75th Anniversary. The badges will be available from 23rd February 2012 for only £2. There is a strictly limited amount of 100 badges. The Group are also looking at many other events and promotions to celebrate this anniversary. One event we are hoping to arrange is a reunion football match for ex members. If your interested in playing, comment on our Facebook page.

As part of our fund raising efforts to celebrate our 75th Anniversary, several leaders and their friends have completed the Lyke Wake Walk. The Lyke Wake is a complete crossing of the North Yorkshire Moors along their main east-west watershed between Osmotherley & Ravenscar, a distance of approximately 40 miles. The walk must be completed in under 24 hours to be successful.  The walk took place on 5th May 2012.
